Human health and safety is our primary concern! There are a number of potential hazards and risks that are faced by those working with, and collecting data and/or samples from, marine animals. Marine animal response also means working in a variety of different locations and conditions. It is essential that all responders have at least a basic understanding of the challenges posed and what may be expected of all volunteers wishing to get involved in response.
